About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern to join our Finance Team located in Indianapolis, Indiana, working a primarily remote work schedule and occasional in-person collaboration in Indianapolis. This is an 11-week paid internship where you'll work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, all while supporting our mission to improve health and improve lives. The Finance Team is a dynamic and highly collaborative organization that brings together professionals across Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Development, and Sales Analytics. As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. In addition to your project work, you’ll gain valuable exposure to Labcorp’s global business, culture, and leadership through enterprise-wide learning experiences, leadership exposure and visibility, an immersive in-person intern event, senior leader speaker sessions, continuous opportunities to connect and grow, connection to Labcorp’s inclusive culture, and dedicated mentoring connections.

Requirements

Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program.
Working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related business discipline.
Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with team members as needed.
Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis activities across the organization.
Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Support the preparation of management reporting and financial analyses used to inform business decisions.
Analyze financial and business information to identify trends and provide insights.
Partner with finance professionals and business leaders on financial planning and analysis activities.
Support process improvement initiatives that enhance financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
Contribute to projects that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
