About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern to join our Finance Team located in Indianapolis, Indiana, working a primarily remote work schedule and occasional in-person collaboration in Indianapolis. This is an 11-week paid internship designed for students to work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience, supporting Labcorp's mission to improve health and improve lives. The Finance Team is a dynamic and highly collaborative organization that brings together professionals across Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Development, and Sales Analytics. Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside finance and business leaders, gain exposure to multiple areas of the organization, and contribute to projects that support strategic decision-making. The team values curiosity, continuous learning, and collaboration, creating an environment where interns can develop professionally while making meaningful contributions.

Requirements

Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program.
Working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related business discipline.
Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with team members as needed.

Nice To Haves

Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (December 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis activities across the organization.
Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Support the preparation of management reporting and financial analyses used to inform business decisions.
Analyze financial and business information to identify trends and provide insights.
Partner with finance professionals and business leaders on financial planning and analysis activities.
Support process improvement initiatives that enhance financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
Contribute to projects that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
