About The Position

Clarins group, a global leader in skincare and make-up, is seeking an Intern for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) based in New York, NY. This role supports the FP&A team by providing business analysis and insights to drive informed decisions, aiming for financial goals and long-term business stability and profitability. The intern will contribute to the group's strategy pillars: people-centric, brand-build, consumer-obsessed, digitally minded, and committed to responsible beauty. The position focuses on managing the P&L and supporting business operations, particularly in E-Commerce, CRM, and media scopes, with an emphasis on improving financial performance and fostering a Return on Investment (ROI) mindset.

Requirements

Able to quickly learn new systems and tools.
Curious, with the desire to constantly learn.
Highly driven, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical and has strong problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to organize and prioritize workload while managing to meet deadlines.
0-2 years prior experience in a financial role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Very strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, LOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.

Responsibilities

Assist the FP&A team with monthly sales and P&L reporting, analysis, and planning.
Provide support to business partners through the monthly actuals and budgeting processes.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to finance and business teams.
Extract and analyze data from multiple datasets.
Drive continuous improvement through developing and maintaining reports and processes.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and other tasks as needed.
