About The Position

The FP&A Summer Intern will support the Finance team in analyzing revenue, margins, inventory performance, across our distribution business. This role provides hands-on exposure to forecasting, financial analysis, and operational finance within a high-growth, inventory-driven environment. You will have the opportunity to work on real business initiatives and present insights to senior leadership at the end of the internship. Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excel
  • Outlook
  • Teams
  • Emerging Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic modeling)
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework in Financial Modeling or Corporate Finance
  • Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools
  • Interest in distribution, supply chain, or operational finance

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monthly sales reporting and variance analysis (Revenue, Gross Margin)
  • Support forecast updates
  • Maintain Excel models for revenue and margin tracking
  • Assist in monthly KPI Reporting (Inventory turns, freight costs, etc)
  • Support margin analysis by product category (equipment vs. smallwares)
