About The Position

ATC is looking for a System Operations Engineering Intern to support our System Operations team by updating, developing, and maintaining our Energy Management System (EMS). You’ll be at the heart of what we do, conducting engineering work that supports reliable and economic operations of the interconnected electric transmission system. This internship offers hands-on experience with SCADA and advanced network applications, as well as opportunities to develop, implement, and maintain visualization tools that support real-time system operations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields
- Curiosity, a collaborative mindset, and an interest in learning how technology supports grid reliability
Nice To Haves
- Experience with programming or visualization tools is a plus
- Enthusiasm for making a difference in the energy industry
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain EMS system components
