About The Position
This is a Summer Internship position focused on Energy Utility Project Management. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting energy utility projects from planning through execution. They will work alongside project managers and project controls professionals to coordinate project activities, track schedules and budgets, update documentation, and prepare reports. The internship aims to build understanding of project management, cost control, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration in delivering energy solutions.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a related major (i.e. Project Management, Engineering, etc).
Responsibilities
- Support project managers with planning, coordination, documentation, and follow-up on project tasks, meetings, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
- Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking milestones, action items, dependencies, and risks.
- Help prepare project estimates, budgets, forecasts, and cost updates.
- Monitor project controls data, including schedules, costs, progress updates, and reporting dashboards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather project information, update documentation, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting.
- Gain hands-on exposure to both project management and project controls practices within a regulated energy utility environment.
