About The Position

Moog’s Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering team within the Military Aircraft Group is seeking a spring intern. This onsite internship is based in Torrance, California. The intern will contribute to machining tasks, support engineers, and provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution. Work experience may include interpreting complex drawings and designs and participating in testing. The intern will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and represent Moog’s technical and professional reputation.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in an Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited university.
• Have a GPA of at least 3.0; the exact GPA requirement will be specified by the department.
• Be able to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Meet the access requirements for U.S. export-controlled information.
• Have a professional disposition, effective communication skills, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key machining tasks at Moog.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Interpret complex drawings and designs and participate in testing as applicable.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Work as a multidisciplinary member of a team.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
