Intern, CNC Machining Engineer
About The Position
Moog’s Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering team within its Military Aircraft Group is seeking a spring intern for an onsite position in Torrance, California. The intern will contribute to machining tasks, support engineers, and provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution. Work may include interpreting complex drawings, designs, and testing. The intern will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and represent Moog’s technical and professional reputation. Applicants must be enrolled in an Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited university, have a GPA of at least 3.0 (with the exact requirement specified by the department), and be able to relocate for the duration of the internship. The position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Moog expects interns to demonstrate professional conduct, effective communication, a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in an Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited university.

- Be able to relocate for the duration of the internship.
- Be able to access U.S. export-controlled information.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation and execution of key machining tasks at Moog.
- Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
- Interpret complex drawings, designs, and testing as part of work experience.
- Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
- Work as a multidisciplinary team member alongside creative, independent individuals.
- Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
