About The Position

Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking an Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting its design team and field marketing team. The intern will contribute to client relationships and commercial objectives while applying engineering knowledge to civil and environmental engineering projects. The role is intended for local candidates and involves working with engineers, contractors, developers, and cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program; Civil Engineering is preferred.
• Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, database management software, and basic CAD.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Local candidates only.

Nice To Haves

• Civil Engineering undergraduate studies are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department design engineers to present project-specific solutions to clients.
• Provide designs and advice to help secure and integrate company products into site plans.
• Assist with engineering designs and plans under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design decisions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support communication and timely project completion.
• Support submittals, production, and product delivery.
• May conduct site visits to assess project progress and quality.
• Maintain engineering standards and procedures.
• Support the field marketing team in building relationships with civil engineering clients.
