About The Position

Dev.Pro is a US-based outsourced software development company with a remote-first team of IT professionals working across more than 55 countries on five continents. The company is hiring a contractor in Europe to join a global team supporting technology companies with software engineering expertise.

The engineer will work on a streamlined version of a point-of-sale (POS) and business management platform used in restaurant, food service, and retail industries. The project focuses on building a React-based user interface for administrative functions, including data management, reporting, and back-office operations. The role centers on frontend development, responsive interfaces, and integration with existing APIs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on commercial experience developing web applications with React.
• Good understanding of frontend development principles and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing responsive and adaptive user interfaces.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture.
• Basic experience using AI-assisted development tools within an IDE.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with frontend testing tools and practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based application environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend functionality using React.
• Build responsive user interfaces for data management, reporting, and back-office features.
• Integrate frontend components with existing REST APIs.
• Work with micro-frontend architecture to support application maintainability and scalability.
• Use AI-assisted development tools within the IDE for everyday coding tasks.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure application quality.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to implemented features.
