About The Position

We're seeking a motivated Software Developer to help design, develop, and implement modern web applications. In this role, you will perform systems analysis, design, integration, and documentation for complex applications. You will be a core member of an Agile team, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle with a focus on building high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions. This role is fully remote.

The Software Engineer develops and maintains robust applications using Java/Spring Boot for backend services and Angular for the frontend. The role includes building responsive interfaces with UI templates, HTML5, CSS, and Angular; developing and deploying applications in a cloud environment using AWS services; and writing and consuming RESTful APIs. The engineer also contributes to modernizing legacy applications into cloud-native architectures, testing and troubleshooting software, and collaborating with an Agile team to maintain existing software and deliver new features.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Proficiency in front-end development with Angular, HTML5, and CSS.
• Experience with Node.js for backend services or build tooling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Agile development processes such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Active CompTIA Security+ / IAT level II certification.
• Possess a SECRET security clearance or have the ability to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

• Experience writing SQL for a major database such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with API design and documentation, such as JSON or OpenAPI.
• Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.
• Experience with vulnerability analysis and remediation.

Responsibilities
