About The Position

Steinhafels is seeking creative Interior Designers to help customers create their ideal homes. The role offers opportunities to use design skills in a full-commission sales position, with uncapped income potential and an additional $15 per hour during the first four training pay periods. The company provides paid training, products, and support from its service and delivery team.

Design services range from basic decorating suggestions to complete floor plans, tailored to customers’ budgets, spaces, and projects. Designers work both in the store and in customers’ homes, manage multiple customers and projects, and accommodate customer needs through a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Strong sales abilities and high personal integrity.
• Creative ability to translate design vision into client presentations that meet customer needs and drive sales.
• Ability to work both in-store and in customers’ homes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and customers concurrently.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that meets customer needs, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with 2D and 3D space planning.
• Experience with palette selections and textiles.
• DMV record must meet insurability requirements.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of an associate’s degree in interior design and/or extensive experience and training in a design field.
• Experience as a designer; candidates just starting out in the design field are also considered.
