About The Position

Ethan Allen Retail, Inc. is hiring two Interior Design Professionals for its Lyndhurst Design Center in Legacy Village, serving the Cleveland area. The role combines interior design and retail sales, working with returning clients and new retail traffic in the design studio, remotely, online, and in customers’ homes to create individualized residential design solutions using Ethan Allen products and services. Work includes space planning, fabric coordination, product selection, and overall project design. The position is full-time, on-site, and requires weekends. Compensation includes a minimum annual recoverable draw of $50,000, paid biweekly, with incentive-based earnings determined by monthly net written revenue generated from retail customer purchases and placed design project orders. Associates are expected to meet or exceed minimum monthly standards and other benchmarks; earning potential is unlimited under the draw-based pay structure, and actual compensation depends on individual performance. Design Professionals are evaluated on teamwork, customer service, communication, decision-making, project development, presentation, and technical skills. They build community and trade relationships and market their business through multiple channels while working within Ethan Allen’s design program. The role requires a design-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least one year of practical interior design experience, or five years of experience in a related field. A valid driver’s license is required, except where an acceptable alternative means of transportation is established to the company’s satisfaction.
