About The Position
Passero Associates’ Rochester, NY office offers a paid Interior Design Co-op/Intern opportunity working on a diverse range of projects, including multi-family housing, municipal, and commercial projects. The role provides professional experience toward a career in Interior Design. The intern may also participate in field work, measured drawings, site inspections, and construction field visits. Passero Associates is a growing multidisciplinary consulting firm providing planning, engineering, architectural design, structural, surveying, sustainability, program management, design-build, construction administration, and inspection services through nine offices in the northeastern, midwestern, and southeastern United States. Requirements
- Be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Be available now through Winter/Spring 2027.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Be a team player able to contribute to a positive work culture.
- Have a strong work ethic and focus on quality deliverables and exceptional client service.
- Have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Introductory experience with Revit, Photoshop, and other rendering software is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work in a team environment to help deliver Interior Design projects.
- Model designs and prepare construction drawings and details.
- Maintain and update the design library.
- Potentially participate in field work, measured drawings, site inspections, and construction field visits.
