About The Position
Specialty Medical Staffing is seeking an Interim Director of Pharmacy for a short-term interim assignment at an inpatient acute care facility in Tucson, Arizona. The position is scheduled to start in November 2026 and is full-time, day shift. The Director of Pharmacy will oversee pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance, serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge, manage pharmacy staff and medication systems, and provide pharmacist staffing support as needed.
Requirements
- Previous inpatient Director of Pharmacy experience.
- Active Arizona Pharmacist license.
- Strong leadership and hospital pharmacy operations experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).
- Manage pharmacy staff, inventory, and medication distribution systems.
- Provide pharmacist staffing support as needed.
