About The Position

ML Healthcare is seeking an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) based in La Porte, Texas. The role supports the successful execution of Sylvan Shores' mission and Core Values by ensuring quality care through associate engagement, excellent clinical services, and customer satisfaction within the community. Candidates must be a registered nurse with experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or veterans' home and be flexible to relocate within Texas.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Valid state licensure as a registered nurse (RN).
• Three to five years of progressive management or supervisory experience in long-term care, acute care, a veterans' home, restorative nursing, or geriatric nursing.
• Proficiency using electronic medical records; PCC is required.
• Must be a registered nurse with experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or veterans' home.
• Flexibility to relocate within Texas.

Nice To Haves

• Two to three years of Director of Nursing (DON) experience is highly regarded.
