About The Position

The Director of Nursing (DON) at Trilogy’s Health Campuses oversees residents’ health concerns and manages the Nursing Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role ensures quality care under the guidance of the Executive Director/Administrator and the Medical Director.

The Director plans, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs nursing services and related programs and activities; leads the clinical team with a focus on clinical and customer service excellence; maintains a quality assurance program and takes action to correct deficiencies; and participates in government facility surveys to support compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Associate degree or advanced degree in Nursing.
• Current, valid state RN license, which must be maintained.
• Current, valid CPR certification, which must be maintained.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department and its programs and activities in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Lead the clinical team with a focus on clinical and customer service excellence.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Execute appropriate plans of action to correct identified deficiencies.
• Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies and ensure facility compliance with laws and regulations governing the Health Campus.
