About The Position

The Director of Nursing (DON) at Trilogy’s Health Campuses oversees residents’ health concerns and manages the Nursing Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. The DON ensures quality care under the guidance of the Executive Director/Administrator and the Medical Director. This role leads the clinical team with a focus on clinical and customer service excellence.

Requirements

• Associate degree or advanced degree in Nursing.
• Current, valid state RN license; must be maintained.
• Current, valid CPR certification; required.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department and its programs and activities in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Lead the clinical team with a focus on clinical and customer service excellence.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the nursing service department and execute plans of action to correct identified deficiencies.
• Participate in facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies and ensure facility compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
