Yuba College (YC) is seeking an equity-minded, dynamic, collaborative, and innovative leader to serve as College President. The College President will be responsible for providing effective leadership and administrative management for all instructional and student services at the college. The College President reports to the Chancellor and is a member of the Chancellor’s Executive Team. The President serves as the campus chief executive officer and assures that the College is administered in accordance with the policies adopted by the Board of Trustees, the regulations of the State of California, and the relevant requirements of the federal government. The President provides overall leadership and administrative authority for all aspects of the campus programs, including instructional and student services; supervision and evaluation of all staff; planning and budgeting; technology; outreach and public relations; as well as coordination with its sister College and District Services as delegated by the Chancellor. As part of the Yuba Community College District (YCCD), Yuba College (YC) is an institution with high minority enrollment that serves the largely rural communities. Yuba College prepares a diverse student population to excel in a rapidly changing, interdependent world. Our quality programs and student services empower students to achieve their educational and life goals by providing counseling, transfer preparation, associate and transfer degrees, certificates, career and workforce training, basic skills instruction, and opportunities for lifelong learning. We respond to the diverse educational, cultural, and economic needs of our community by promoting individual potential through effective teaching and learning in an inclusive environment. In addition to the main campus, Yuba College operates two educational centers: one at the Beale Air Force Base Outreach Center in Linda and another at the Sutter County Center located in Yuba City. The College President of Yuba College will lead the College to answer these student voices by demonstrating a focus on Certificate completion, Career Technical Education (CTE) unit completion, and regional living wage attainment. The YC President will also guide the College in aligning college goals with the YCCD governing boards goals for Success Goals to increase the number of students completing career education programs who find a job in their field of study, as well as increase, by at least 20 percent, the number of students earning credentials or acquiring specific skill sets that prepare them for an in-demand job.
