About The Position

Jefferson Health is hiring a Staff Nurse to provide professional nursing care to a group of patients in the Intensive Care Nursery during night shifts. The position is full time at 36 hours per week. The nurse performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice, administers medications safely and assesses patient responses, participates in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination, and completes required documentation. A proof of neonatal critical care course is required, or the employee must sign an Intensive Care Nursery course agreement that includes a two-year work commitment.

Requirements

State-issued RN license.
One year of RN experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Proof of a neonatal critical care course, or agreement to sign the Intensive Care Nursery course agreement with a two-year work commitment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
