About The Position

This role is for an execution-driven leader who can translate an entrepreneurial vision into clear priorities and measurable results. The Integrator will unify senior leaders, create organizational clarity, and build a culture of accountability and follow-through. The ideal candidate will have financial and analytical skills to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, influence stakeholders, and help scale the organization beyond $100M. This position reports directly to the CEO/Visionary and serves as the organization’s #2 executive leader. The Integrator brings high energy, clarity, emotional intelligence, and accountability to a rapidly growing business, turning concept into focused action and measurable results. They will unite multi-site leaders, strengthen execution, challenge assumptions, and navigate difficult conversations with confidence and empathy, keeping teams focused on the right priorities. The role is crucial for turning Pet Meadow’s ambitious strategy for growth into sustainable results.

Requirements

10+ years of progressive operational leadership experience, with responsibility for complex, multi-site/multi-regional operations at the VP, Sr. Director, GM, COO, or equivalent level.
3-5+ years serving in a #2/Integrator, enterprise leadership, COO, or President role.
Experience with private equity, a PE-backed organization, or strategy/management consulting, with the ability to analyze business performance, challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and translate strategic recommendations into execution.
Proven experience leading within a $50M+ organization, preferably $100M+, with significant responsibility for P&L performance, financial analysis, cost management, resource allocation, and improving business results.

Experience helping scale an organization from approximately $50M to $100M+ in revenue while building the leadership, systems, financial discipline, and organizational infrastructure necessary to support growth.
Hands-on experience utilizing EOS® or a similar operating system to drive organizational priorities, accountability, and execution.
Experience supporting sales, marketing, and growth initiatives through financial analysis, strategic planning, and organizational execution.
Leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial services, process-driven operations, or a similarly complex operating environment, with demonstrated success applying operational and financial best practices across departments.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
Advanced degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
PMP or similar project/program management certification.
Experience within an entrepreneurial, founder-led, or family-owned organization.
Experience working with international stakeholders or within a global organization.
Experience within veterinary services, pet services, pet aftercare, or a related industry.

Responsibilities

Partner with the CEO/Visionary to translate strategic ideas and long-term direction into clear priorities, actionable plans, and measurable results.
Lead, coach, develop, and hold the Leadership Team accountable for departmental performance, organizational commitments, and company goals.
Unify major business functions, break down departmental silos, and align leaders around shared organizational priorities.
Lead enterprise change associated with rapid growth, acquisitions, organizational integration, systems implementation, and evolving business practices.
Build strong relationships with ownership, the board, private equity partners, and international stakeholders by clearly communicating Pet Meadow’s strategy, financial performance, growth opportunities, challenges, and progress toward organizational goals.
Drive Pet Meadow’s EOS® operating framework, including L10 meetings, Rocks, Scorecards, IDS, V/TO alignment, and disciplined 90-day execution.
Develop and manage enterprise operating plans and implementation roadmaps that connect annual objectives with quarterly priorities and day-to-day execution.
Partner with Finance on budgets, forecasts, profitability, cash flow, resource allocation, and investment decisions that support sustainable growth.
Evaluate strategic initiatives, growth opportunities, and competing priorities to ensure resources remain focused on activities that best support company objectives.
Drive scalable systems, processes, technology, and best business practices that improve organizational performance and support continued growth.
Establish clear expectations, ownership, timelines, KPIs, and performance standards across the organization.
Monitor Scorecards, financial results, KPIs, dashboards, and other business metrics to identify trends, surface issues, and drive informed decisions.
Identify and resolve cross-functional issues, facilitate root-cause problem solving, remove organizational obstacles, and mitigate risks before they impact performance.
Evaluate organizational structure, leadership effectiveness, and resource needs to ensure the right people are in the right seats as the company grows.
Build a culture of accountability, transparency, and follow-through by addressing underperformance, reinforcing commitments, and ensuring leaders deliver measurable results.
