About The Position

The Integration Technician provides local technical services and support to customers, Systems Engineering, and internal support departments. The role integrates, installs, calibrates, and troubleshoots Oerlikon Metco thermal spray equipment and components, and involves planning and completing assignments using experience and judgment. The position includes substantial out-of-office travel, including domestic and international assignments.

Requirements

Ability to travel 80%, including domestic and international assignments.
Ability to obtain the security clearance required to work at customer facilities, and U.S. citizenship.
Excellent communication skills and customer relations.
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to field service and customer service support.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of electromechanical experience; thermal spray experience is a plus.
Associate or bachelor's degree; experience may substitute.
Vacuum system experience.

Responsibilities

Install, integrate, test, and train customers on specialized systems, including robotic programming, interfacing, and vacuum systems.
Test, analyze, and adjust precision electromechanical instruments.
Maintain and adjust electrical and mechanical components used with Oerlikon Metco thermal spray equipment.
Calibrate and adjust components and instruments according to established ISO and Oerlikon Metco engineered standards.
Complete calibration reports in accordance with ISO certifications.
Complete service reports documenting the causes and resolutions of problems encountered.
Complete daily time sheets and expense reports.
Complete customer telephone technical reports.
