Integration Technician Intern

About The Position
CTI offers a paid internship designed to build fundamental skills and provide hands-on experience alongside system design and technical integration professionals. Interns complete an AV integration boot camp, introductory training, and real-world project work, and study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam. The internship is at least ten weeks, begins May 25, 2027, and is based on-site in Houston, Texas. Interns work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. The internship pays $17 per hour.
Requirements
- Anticipated associate's or bachelor's degree graduation between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record in accordance with company policy.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Physical ability to walk distances; crouch, squat, reach, crawl, climb ladders, work at high elevations and in tight spaces; and repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the AV integration boot camp, introductory training, and hands-on work.
- Work on impactful projects and solve problems in practical settings.
- Study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam.
- Work on-site alongside CTI AV professionals.
