Integration Technician Intern

About The Position
CTI’s paid internship is designed to build fundamental skills and provide hands-on experience alongside system design and technical integration professionals. Interns participate in an AV integration boot camp, introductory training, and real-world project work, and study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam. The internship lasts at least ten weeks and begins May 25, 2027. The position is based on-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. The internship pays $17 per hour.
Requirements
- Anticipated associate's or bachelor's degree graduation between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record in accordance with company policy.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Physically able to walk distances; crouch, squat, reach, crawl, and climb ladders; work at high elevations and in tight spaces; and repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Participate in AV integration boot-camp training and introductory training.
- Work on projects and solve problems through hands-on experience.
- Study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam.
- Work alongside AV professionals on-site.
