Integration Technician Intern
About The Position
CTI’s paid internship is designed to build fundamental skills and provide hands-on experience. The intern will work alongside and learn from system design and technical integration professionals. The program includes AV integration boot-camp training, introductory training, real-world experience, impactful projects, hands-on problem-solving, and preparation for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam. The internship lasts at least ten weeks and begins May 25, 2027. The intern works 40 hours per week onsite with AV professionals, Monday through Friday during regular business hours, in the Quad Cities–Davenport, Iowa location. The internship pays $17 per hour.
Requirements
- Anticipated associate’s or bachelor’s degree graduation between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record in accordance with Company Policy.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Ability to walk distances; crouch, squat, reach, crawl, climb ladders, and work at high elevations and in tight spaces; and repetitively lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Participate in AV integration boot-camp and introductory training.
- Work on projects and solve problems through hands-on experience.
- Study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam.
- Work alongside CTI AV professionals onsite.
