About The Position
CTI’s paid internship provides structured training, hands-on experience, and opportunities to build fundamental skills alongside system design and technical integration professionals. The internship lasts at least ten weeks and begins May 25, 2027. Interns complete an AV integration boot camp, introductory training, and real-world project work, and study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam. The position is on-site, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during regular business hours. The internship pay rate is $17 per hour.
Requirements
- Anticipated associate’s or bachelor’s degree graduation between Spring 2027 and Spring 2028.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record per company policy.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Ability to walk distances; crouch, squat, reach, crawl, climb ladders, work at high elevations and in tight spaces; and repeatedly lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Complete CTI’s AV integration boot camp, introductory training, and hands-on learning.
- Work on projects and use hands-on problem-solving.
- Study for the AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist exam.
- Work alongside AV professionals on-site, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours per week.
