Integration Program Manager

EDAG MexicoDearborn, MI

About The Position

Synthesize complex test, simulation, and design data from diverse safety disciplines (structures, occupant, sensing, test and validation, electrical) into cohesive, actionable items. Lead the systems integration of multiple safety, durability and NVH loadcases (structures, occupant, sensing, test and validation, electrical), securing stakeholder buy-in across conflicting design domains. Act as the single technical point of contact for external TPMs and program management, translating deep safety, durability and NVH complexities into clear, unified program directives. Partner with component and systems engineers to ensure cascading safety integration requirements are explicitly defined, tracked, and communicated. Proactively unearth and drive resolution for deep-seated technical bottlenecks and integration risks across engineering boundaries and test facilities. Institutionalize rigorous systems engineering documentation and integration best practices within the safety, durability and NVH organizations. Represent safety, durability and NVH to external stakeholders, ensuring that the vehicle safety program challenges and opportunities are communicated clearly and effectively. Ensure the integration efforts are aligned with broader strategic objectives and that the integration timelines are met.

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in automotive safety and testing, vehicle testing (Dura &NVH), or system integration
  • Ability to travel to vehicle and component test locations
  • Strong working knowledge of FMVSS, ECE, NCAP and other automotive safety evaluation preferred
  • Proven project management experience, with expertise in tracking milestones, managing risks, and coordinating teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential roadblocks in safety system development
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, ensuring clear expectations and structured execution of safety initiatives
