Intergration Planner

DecisionPoint Technologies, Inc.•Greensboro, NC

About The Position

The Integration Planner is a high-impact individual contributor who converts customer demand, project requirements, deployment schedules, and operational priorities into executable production plans. The role connects Project Management, Sales, Operations, Integration, Logistics, and Operations leadership, providing visibility into workload, production priorities, capacity, and labor needs so Integration Operations can meet completion and deployment dates. The position anticipates constraints, identifies execution risks, and supplies leaders with information for staffing, scheduling, and prioritization decisions. The Integration Planner develops and maintains short- and long-term schedules, translates forecasts into actionable plans, balances workloads, and adjusts schedules and recovery plans when delays occur. The role assesses capacity and labor requirements, tracks work from planning through production readiness, resolves competing priorities, and escalates bottlenecks. It also supports customer onboarding, production trials, and early production runs, using operational data to refine schedules and capacity models. The position ensures work is ready for production by checking material availability, specifications, work instructions, tooling, and labor readiness. It monitors operational performance, maintains accurate planning systems and workflows, uses historical results to improve planning, and provides routine executive reporting. The work takes place in an office/warehouse environment. Core business hours are generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but work outside normal business hours may be required based on company operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, integration, distribution operations, logistics, or a related operational environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on experience developing, implementing, and managing production schedules end to end in a high-volume or dynamic operational setting.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, production-scheduling software, operational-planning systems, and advanced Excel for data analysis and operational reporting.
  • Ability to analyze complex production data and translate findings into actionable operating plans, capacity models, and refined scheduling parameters.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer programs, complex schedules, and competing operational priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying capacity constraints and mitigating production risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present production risks clearly to leadership and collaborate across Operations, Project Management, and customer-facing teams.
  • Physical ability to work in a warehouse environment, including prolonged standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and twisting.
  • Ability to frequently use hands and fingers for computer operation, hardware installation, device setup, testing, cable connections, and packaging.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance and safely push, pull, and move equipment and materials.
  • Sufficient vision, hearing, and communication skills to inspect equipment, perform quality testing, read labels and screens, and communicate with coworkers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update short- and long-term production schedules aligned with customer demand, deployment dates, and operational priorities.
  • Translate project forecasts into actionable plans, balance workloads across shifts and workstations, and establish priorities with Integration and Operations leadership.
  • Develop recovery plans, adjust schedules in response to deviations or delays, and maintain transparent communication and pipeline visibility.
  • Assess operational capacity by evaluating labor, equipment, operating hours, and historical throughput.
  • Forecast labor and capacity requirements, identify resource gaps, and recommend shift modifications, overtime, or staffing changes.
  • Evaluate the operational impact of new programs and refine capacity assumptions using actual performance metrics.
  • Track incoming work from initial project planning through production readiness, establish production sequences, resolve conflicting priorities, and escalate capacity bottlenecks.
  • Maintain visibility into planned, ready, in-progress, at-risk, and completed work.
  • Partner with Project Management, Engineering, Logistics, and Operations to onboard new accounts, define operational parameters, and align production expectations.
  • Participate in trials and proof-of-concept activities; analyze cycle times, labor needs, and quality performance to develop scalable schedules, capacity plans, and standard procedures.
  • Monitor early production runs and refine planning models as throughput data becomes available.
  • Verify material availability, configuration specifications, work instructions, tooling, and labor readiness before scheduling; coordinate resolution of production gaps and escalate schedule risks.
  • Monitor schedule attainment, throughput, cycle times, labor utilization, and backlog to identify systemic causes of delay.
  • Maintain accurate planning parameters and standardized workflows, use historical performance data to improve capacity models and schedule accuracy, and deliver routine executive reports on workload, risks, and operational performance.
