Requirements

1-2 years of previous planning/scheduling experience.
Experience with a planning software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Acumen, Milestone Pro, One Pager Pro, Primavera, Excel, Power Point, Word or other comparable software).
Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts such as critical path analysis, cost/schedule integration, performance metrics, and program start-up activities.
Knowledge of Schedule Performance Management techniques.
Experience delivering briefings to team members and project teams.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree from an accredited college in an Engineering, STEM, or Business related degree.
Active Secret clearance.
3+ years of experience in planning or program management related discipline within the aerospace/defense industry.
Exposure to Network scheduling software (MS Project, Open Plan, Primavera, etc).
Critical Path Scheduling methodology.
Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and maintenance.
Integrated Master Plan (IMP) knowledge.
Production / Sustainment / Depot Operations.
Earned Value Management.
Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Development Proposal knowledge.
Advanced Excel skill set including macros, lookup tables and VBA.
Exposure to Schedule Risk Assessment process/software.
Ability to communicate utilizing different techniques and develop meaningful relationships.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

Serve as the responsible Planner for a specific IPT on the program.
Develop, manage, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner.
Ensure established program baseline control processes are followed and oversee business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting goals.
Use critical path methodology, risk analysis, and problem resolution to mitigate delays/issues, communicate schedule impacts, and propose corrective actions to applicable program partners.
Synchronize cost/schedule integration in support of Earned Value requirements and generate schedule metrics and reports related to the implementation of the Program.
Schedule presentations which may include Program Management, Executive Management, or Customer Stakeholders.
Establish and conduct data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for surveillance reviews to ensure compliance with program performance management.
Develop recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with the contract requirements.
Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS, and the Program Summary Master Schedule.
