About The Position

Boeing Global Services is seeking a Mid-Level Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist to support Phase 1 and/or Phase 2 Scheduling within the Commercial Modifications Group. This position is located in Long Beach, CA. The specialist will independently develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. This includes performing studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), and risk assessments to determine impacts and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, and program initiatives. The role involves creating schedules, reports, and metrics, managing change activity, and regularly communicating and updating the plan throughout the lifecycle of a program or project. Additionally, the specialist will work to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision-makers. The position directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion, acting as the primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. The specialist will also assist customers in developing performance recovery plans and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing stakeholder support.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a role requiring project scheduling / program management skills
5+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience building schedules from scratch
Experience working with PowerBI, Tableau or other business intelligence systems
Experience conducting data analysis with Excel
Experience with Agile / SAFe Methodology
Experience with scheduling tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, etc.)

Responsibilities

Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders.
