Integrated Planning and Scheduling Specialist - Associate/Mid-Level
About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Planning and Scheduling (IP&S) Specialist (Level 2 or 3) to join the Attack Helicopter Programs in Mesa, Arizona. The candidate must have demonstrated analytical capability and excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with a variety of stakeholders. The candidate must be a proactive self-starter and work well within a team environment. Flexibility, initiative, detail orientation, ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new areas are essential requirements to successfully perform in this dynamic and exciting environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Applications
- Experience in at least one of the following areas: finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management and/or business operations role
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.
- U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Professional, Primavera, etc.
Responsibilities
- Preparation, development, and coordination of integrated plans and team schedules to meet program and/or project requirements.
- Development of program plans and schedules, and coordinates with affected organizations, documents, work statements and resulting schedules.
- Produces and analyzes metrics for plans and schedules
- Integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functions, product groups, suppliers, and partners of moderate complexity.
- Identifies, reports and analyzes performance variances.
- Develops schedules and supports change incorporation plans related to Integrated Scheduling products
- Reviews proposed changes to the baseline
- Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
- Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
- Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
- Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers
- Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
- Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
- Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders
