The Digital Sales Account Executive is responsible for generating advertising revenue by developing and managing relationships with local, regional, and national businesses. This role serves as a trusted marketing consultant, helping clients reach target audiences through a combination of radio, digital, streaming, social media, podcast, and event sponsorship opportunities. The Account Executive is responsible for prospecting new business, maintaining existing client relationships, creating customized advertising solutions, and achieving revenue goals across multiple media platforms.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years business-to-business sales experience, with experience in media preferable.
  • Highly motivated and creative individual who is looking for ways to innovate
  • Committed to building and developing new relationships
  • Maintaining and building strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Professional demeanor, and excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Successful track record working with major accounts
  • Submit to a criminal background check
  • Legal right to work in the United States

  • Web sales and CRM experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and secure new advertising partnerships through networking, referrals, cold calling, and community engagement.
  • Grow revenue from existing accounts by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across broadcast and digital products.
  • Develop integrated marketing proposals that align with client business objectives and target audiences.
  • Present advertising campaigns utilizing radio, streaming audio, display advertising, social media, video, podcasts, events, and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue activity within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with programming, promotions, digital, and creative teams to execute successful client campaigns.
  • Creation of client-focused sales plans to meet/exceed goals in conjunction with Target and Key Account development
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with insights, reporting, and recommendations.
  • Stay informed on digital advertising trends, audience research, market conditions, and competitor activity.
