The work includes monitoring fleet issues, managing certification and provisioning documentation, supporting Planned Maintenance System products, and coordinating logistics impacts of engineering changes and software releases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, Technical Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting Navy ILS, provisioning, or sustainment programs.
  • Experience with Navy provisioning processes and logistics documentation development.
  • Working knowledge of Navy CASREP procedures and fleet support processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple software releases and logistics efforts simultaneously.
  • Active Secret Clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor CASREP messaging and fleet communications for assigned systems; track degradations, outages, and readiness impacts.
  • Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and fleet stakeholders to assess supportability implications and maintain awareness of fleet issues requiring logistics or provisioning action.
  • Develop, coordinate, and route ILS Certifications for each software release, ensuring packages are completed, reviewed, and approved according to Navy requirements.
  • Coordinate certification closure and approval workflows through Navy Digital Environment (NDE) applications.
  • Verify that logistics products, provisioning documentation, training, technical manuals, and maintenance requirements are addressed before software deployment.
  • Prepare and submit provisioning documentation through Navy ICAPS processes, including for hardware and software configuration changes.
  • Maintain provisioning records and coordinate provisioning updates and logistics product development with engineering and configuration management teams.
  • Serve as the primary provisioning subject matter expert to reduce dependency on external support.
  • Support Planned Maintenance System (PMS) development and maintenance; develop and update Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs) and Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs).
  • Coordinate maintenance requirement reviews resulting from software or hardware modifications and ensure PMS products reflect system maintenance requirements and fleet operational needs.
