Requirements

  • Bilingual English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least two years of plaintiff personal injury intake or pre-litigation case management experience.
  • Experience opening and tracking insurance claims and coordinating with clients, carriers, and medical providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high call volume and a large caseload while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Litify, Salesforce, or comparable legal case management software.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • 1+ years of experience as a New York Intake Case Manager or New York Personal Injury Case Manager in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.
  • Demonstrated experience handling bodily injury claims, pre-litigation case management, property damage claims, PIP, medical records and bill collection, insurance communications, subrogation matters, attorney liens, and demand preparation.
  • Excellent client communication, organization, and case management skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting New York personal injury cases is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake interviews and collect information about accidents, injuries, medical treatment, and insurance coverage.
  • Open cases, obtain supporting documents, and maintain accurate records in Litify.
  • Handle a high volume of calls while providing clear, professional, and compassionate client service.
  • Track case activity, outstanding documents, and follow-up deadlines to keep matters moving.
  • Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, and internal teams to obtain necessary information.
  • Explain administrative next steps, provide updates, and refer legal questions to the appropriate attorney.
  • Meet departmental expectations for responsiveness, accuracy, productivity, and timely follow-up.
