Presbyterian Homes & Services - Optage Meals is seeking an Intake Assistant for its team. This is a full time benefit eligible position reporting to the Optage Meals Office Manager or designee. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer software applications, such as desktop publishing, project management, spreadsheets, and database management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously and to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data.
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a team player, willing to take directions and accept responsibility for meeting specified objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with various office equipment such as copy machines, multi-line phones, fax machines, etc.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service and public relations needed to assist in the efficient operation of the Opatge Meals program.
  • Providing customer support within the Optage intake team.
  • Providing administrative and routing support for all areas within the home delivered meal program.
  • Data entry and database records management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Coordinating Optage Meals new client admissions processes to ensure successful client base in accordance with customer needs and operational goals as well as established best practices and procedures.
