About The Position

Visiting Angels is a highly-rated home care provider in the US, dedicated to helping the elderly remain in their homes by assisting with Activities of Daily Living. This role has two primary functions: client intake/sales, which involves managing potential clients from initial lead to service agreement, and referral partner marketing, which focuses on positioning the company as a strategic partner to community referral sources such as Home Health, Hospice, Hospitals, GCM's, ALF, and ILFs.

Requirements

  • Strong drive to build relationships, close leads, and increase the agency's client base.
  • Caring attitude towards providing high-level service to elderly clients.
  • Understanding of elderly clients' health concerns.
  • Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • High degree of initiative and ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Good verbal communication skills, appropriate language, and understanding of basic medical terminology.
  • Good computer skills, including data input and proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Google, and CRM software.
  • Ability to learn new technology and software programs.
  • Sales experience.
  • Experience in Senior Care is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all prospects are called back immediately upon reception of a lead and call recent inquiries weekly to sell services and obtain in-home assessment appointments, aiming for a 50% lead close rate and 90% home assessment close rate.
  • Visit clients’ homes to discuss Visiting Angels' services, focusing on the client's needs, preferences, and desired caregiver type.
  • Create and maintain current client files with signed contracts, collect and maintain all client paperwork, and enter client information into tracking software, ensuring pricing aligns with company policies to maintain profit levels.
  • Maintain a list of new clients, track conversion rates, calls, and sources, track all closed cases, and complete all follow-up procedures. Assist the Staffing Coordinator in confirming new client assignments and introducing the client to the caregiver.
  • Work closely with nursing staff to schedule initial assessments, prepare client home binders with directions and forms for caregivers, and consult with the Staffing Manager to ensure proper care levels. Visit current clients in hospitals/rehab/nursing homes for check-ups and to provide gifts.
  • Prepare discharge paperwork, including a letter to the family with a caregiver evaluation survey, when service ends. Periodically update the “Client Emergency Planning Forms” notebook. Attend weekly staff meetings and report on hours serviced and conversion rates.
  • Attend symposiums and expos to promote services, order/suggest promotional items, and distribute marketing materials to referral sources. Acknowledge referrals with gifts. Arrange for newspaper and newsletter ads. Assist in keeping the company website updated with current news.
