Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and office skills and equipment
Minimum of 1 Year experience in Construction/Insurance/Surety/CCDC basics
Prompt and Professional
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the team and independently with minimum supervision
Attention to detail
Strong Initiative and follow up skills
Excellent Communication skills ( written and oral)

Responsibilities

Perform the day to day required servicing of the Insurance & Surety needs of All EllisDon Areas working closely with Brokerage ( CIMI)
Assignment of Tenders and Tracking
Review Insurance & Bonding requirements on RFI’s/RFP’s/MSA’s – direct to Brokerage
Request and prepare quotes for Surety collaborating with Surety Broker ( Aon currently)
Request Certificates of Insurance where required/ Forward Insurance inquiries to Broker
Assist with Costing/quoting of Projects / extensions ( working with Brokers)
Follow up with Project Managers for copies of Owners policies / Certificates
Follow up with project managers with respect to project completion dates to ensure bonds remain in force or closed out.
Set up project file on new awards and uploading of Insurance Schedules within EllisDon Gate 3 Program
