This role involves gaining experience with and supporting the products and services offered by the company, including Multi-peril crop insurance, named peril crop programs, and Agribusiness programs. The specialist will assist in the marketing and sales of all lines of business, develop relationships with the agency plant in the assigned division, and train new and existing agents on marketing techniques, products, services, and rules/regulations. A key aspect of the role is becoming familiar with and developing expertise in Rain and Hail systems and technology to maximize efficiency for agents and adjusters. The position also involves assisting the field structure in managing the assigned territory, communicating company policy and procedures to adjusters and support staff, and relaying territory issues to division management. Administrative duties include investigating and resolving complaints, aiding in the collection and documentation of outstanding premium balances, and monitoring Quality Control audits to ensure fulfillment of the RHILLC plan of implementation. The specialist will also identify and contract qualified independent adjusters, gain experience in loss adjustment procedures for crops, and attend industry seminars. This role assists in the general supervision and management of timely claim completion and performs other duties as necessary.
