About The Position

Winter-Dent is seeking an Insurance Sales Producer to join their 100% employee-owned team. The role involves generating new business by selling insurance policies to individuals and businesses. The producer will assess clients' needs, recommend suitable coverage options, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service. As an employee-owned agency, every team member contributes to the company's success.

Requirements

  • Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Sales and negotiation skills for generating new business
  • Client-first mentality and commitment to excellence, integrity, and professionalism
  • Maintain positive and ethical relations with all professional contacts
  • Demonstrate commitment to maintaining industry knowledge, including staying up to date on latest trends and changes
  • Willingness to help someone in need and belief that the success of the team is more important than the success of the individual
  • Prioritize minimizing E&O exposure for yourself and your team

Responsibilities

  • Support Producer in new business prospect management
  • Partner with Account Executives to learn
  • Provide insurance expertise
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to provide clients with informed recommendations
  • Help quantify risks and risk categories to ensure clients are not over or under-protected
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and services offered by agency outside of P&C departments
  • Prospecting, lead generation, sales process management
  • Timeline management and metrics
  • Client Consultation
  • Proposal Preparation
  • Negotiation and closing
  • Ongoing high-level client support
  • As-needed collaboration with internal stakeholders to support client needs and challenges (Claims Advocates, Safety & Loss Prevention, Bonds, etc.)
  • Renewal management, in partnership with Account Managers and/or Account Executives and Marketing team
