Insurance Sales Agent
About The Position
Insurance Sales Agent This entry-level position is designed to develop into a Sales Agent role. Upon successful completion of the training program, the Sales Agent Trainee will be reclassified as a Sales Agent. This role is based in a District Office and involves both onsite and offsite sales activities, including appointments and field inspections as directed by the Insurance Branch Manager (IBM). The Sales Agent Trainee sells AAA memberships and insurance products in support of club growth, profitability, and service quality objectives. The role includes educating members on AAA services and insurance offerings, while ensuring all documentation is completed accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner in compliance with underwriting guidelines.
Requirements
- Previous sales experience highly preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain Property & Casualty (P&C)/Personal Lines and Life Insurance licenses
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-oriented mindset
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- High school diploma required
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Proof of automobile liability insurance at time of hire
- Successful completion of background, credit check, and drug screen

Responsibilities
- Source, develop leads, prospect, and build a strong sales pipeline
- Conduct sales appointments and actively promote AAA products and services
- Meet and exceed monthly sales and production goals
- Provide exceptional customer service and support member retention
- Effectively communicate product offerings and value propositions
- Complete applications and documentation accurately and in compliance with underwriting standards
- Continuously network and build relationships to grow business
