About The Position

The Project Lead works closely with technicians, mitigation and construction coordinators, and supervisors to deliver outstanding customer service and project management. This role includes scheduling employees and subcontractors for daily and after-hours work, communicating project details with clients, and maintaining accurate job records in our software systems. 1-800 WATER DAMAGE is a trusted property restoration company serving customers nationwide. With locations spanning coast to coast, we help home and business owners restore their properties and their peace of mind—after damage from water, fire, mold, or other disasters. Our team is fully vetted, IICRC-certified, and insured for your safety and confidence. We handle a range of restoration projects including emergency mitigation, water damage restoration, carpet cleaning, fire and smoke damage restoration, sewage cleanup, mold remediation, and much more. We understand how stressful this situation can be, which is why we are equipped to help you deal with insurance companies, property management, and the many other parties interested or involved with the damage. Our water damage technicians, sales teams, and administrative professionals take pride in helping others through home and commercial building restoration.

Requirements

  • Pruriency in the following is required:: Xactimate (XM8)
  • MICA
  • Symbility
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in insurance restoration.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process new loss intakes via phone, email, and fax.
  • Sketch new losses using Xactimate (XM8).
  • Monitor and update job status in MICA, ensuring all communications and documentation are complete.
  • Check updates daily in XactAnalysis, Alacrity, and Lions Bridge.
  • Ensure field paperwork is accurate and current.
  • Maintain and update Dropbox daily with job files, status updates, and finalized billing.
  • Schedule subcontractors and technicians for daily assignments.
  • Coordinate testing for mold and asbestos as required.
  • Review completed worksite and technician paperwork before closing projects.
