About The Position
ProMD, a medical billing company, is hiring an Insurance Payment Posting Supervisor to oversee the unit responsible for posting insurance and patient payments into electronic medical record and practice management systems. The role is on-site, full-time, and scheduled Monday through Friday. Compensation is hourly, dependent on experience, with bonus opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience with billing software.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Experience with EOBs and ERAs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the payment posting unit.
- Post manual and electronic payments accurately.
- Review EOBs and ERAs.
- Balance daily figures and document outstanding balances.
- Assist with adjustments, transfers, and refunds.
- Meet monthly performance goals.
- Perform and supervise payment posting activities.
