About The Position

As a Marketing Analyst on the Commercial Lines team at McGriff, a division of Marsh Agency, you support Producers, Marketing Account Executives, Marketing Specialists, Client Account Executives, and other colleagues in preparing and executing the marketing and placement of insurance coverages with carriers for new and renewal business. The work includes quoting and rating programs for multiple insurance carriers; comparing quote coverages, terms, and conditions; creating and transmitting carrier submissions; preparing proposals; and processing binder requests. You also build and grow relationships with clients, carrier representatives, and teammates.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education.
Relevant insurance industry education, training, or experience.
Property and Casualty insurance license.
Basic insurance knowledge and a strong desire to learn and achieve insurance designations such as AAI, INS, CIC, CRM, CPCU, or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive business relationships.

Nice To Haves

College degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
Insurance industry certifications in addition to the necessary license.
Significant prior insurance industry experience and knowledge of carriers and markets.
