About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Nampa, Idaho. The agent helps educators find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security while building and managing an insurance agency. The role involves developing market access and relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, and growing a professional network through community and industry engagement.

Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation, incentives tied to activity and success during the first 48 months, and quarterly production incentives during that period. Agents receive a dedicated Service Representative to manage client service work, an exclusive territory, technology and ongoing training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. No external office is required for the first two years.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License and Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
