About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Insurance Agent in Fairbanks, Alaska. The agent will build and manage an insurance agency focused on serving educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. The role offers performance-based 1099 compensation, an industry-leading 48-month incentive package, quarterly production incentives, a dedicated Service Representative, an exclusive territory, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs. An external office is not required for the first two years.

Success in this role involves developing market access and strong relationships, presenting products to groups and individuals, participating in networking and community events, and investing time and resources in the long-term success of the business.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

Nice To Haves

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
