About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent to join a growing and team-oriented insurance agency. This role is ideal for an experienced insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping clients protect what matters most. The ideal candidate will have an active Property & Casualty (P&C) License, strong communication skills, and the ability to build lasting client relationships while delivering exceptional service and coverage solutions.

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required or willing to attain.
• Previous insurance agency experience preferred
• Strong understanding of personal and/or commercial insurance products
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Sales-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional client service

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Assess client insurance needs and recommend appropriate property and casualty coverage options
• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and inbound leads
• Quote, bind, and service personal and/or commercial insurance policies
• Explain policy coverages, renewals, endorsements, and claims processes to clients
• Review existing policies to identify coverage gaps and recommend suitable solutions
• Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and documentation accurately
• Maintain detailed client records and ensure compliance with insurance regulations
• Collaborate with internal team members to provide outstanding customer support and retention efforts
