About The Position

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent in Saint Albans, Vermont. The agent will build and manage an insurance agency focused on educators, helping them find affordable insurance solutions and achieve financial security. Horace Mann offers performance-based 1099 compensation, an incentive package during the first 48 months, a dedicated Premier Service Representative for client service work, an exclusive niche market, technology and training, a multiline product portfolio, and market and relationship-building programs.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong business management skills.
• Resident state Life and Health Insurance License.
• Resident state Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses, if applicable in the region.

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry is preferred.
