About The Position

Builders Installed Products of VT is seeking a full-time Insulation Installer. This role offers steady work with opportunities for advancement. The position involves installing insulation in various parts of buildings, working in a team environment, and adhering to safety procedures. Training is provided, and there is potential for increased earnings based on performance after the initial training period.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using hand tools
• Able to work in tight spaces and at heights
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for long periods
• Driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle report required if job duties include operating a company vehicle
• Some assignments require a valid driver’s license
• A valid driver’s license is required for tasks involving the transportation of equipment or travel between sites

Nice To Haves

• Construction or installation experience is a plus (we will train the right person)
• Bilingual is a plus, not required

Responsibilities

• Load and track materials on trucks
• Set up ladders or scaffolding
• Cut and install insulation to fit walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces
• Staple, glue, nail, wire, or run equipment for loose-fill or foam insulation
• Drive a company vehicle when needed and keep it clean
• Follow all job site safety procedures
• Install latex and other caulking products to prevent air filtration
