About The Position

The Insulation Installer installs insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces. Work begins early, either at the shop or directly at the jobsite, and includes loading materials, completing safety checks, and working with a small crew led by an experienced foreman. Job conditions vary by site and season, and the crew follows safety procedures and uses proper equipment. Employees work until the job is done. The position offers steady work and opportunities to take on more responsibility and grow.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation.
• Comfort using hand tools.
• Ability to work in tight spaces and at heights.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for long periods.
• A valid driver’s license is required for tasks involving transportation of equipment or travel between sites.
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, while adhering to safety standards.

Nice To Haves

• Construction or installation experience; training will be provided to the right person.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Load and track materials on trucks.
• Set up ladders or scaffolding.
• Cut and install insulation to fit walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces.
• Staple, glue, nail, wire, or operate equipment for loose-fill or foam insulation.
• Drive a company vehicle when needed and keep it clean.
• Follow all job site safety procedures.
