About The Position

The Insulation Installer installs insulation in walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces. Work begins early, either at the shop or directly at the jobsite. Installers load materials, complete safety checks, and work with a small crew led by an experienced foreman. Jobsite conditions vary by location and season, and work continues until the job is complete. Safety procedures and appropriate equipment are provided. The role offers steady work and opportunities to take on more responsibility and grow.

Requirements

Reliable transportation.
Comfort using hand tools.
Ability to work in tight spaces and at heights.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for long periods.
Ability to work in confined spaces, crawl, reach overhead, and use manual dexterity with hand and power tools.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, while adhering to safety standards.
A valid driver’s license is required for tasks involving equipment transportation or travel between sites.

Nice To Haves

Construction or installation experience; training is available for the right person.
Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

Load and track materials on trucks.
Set up ladders or scaffolding.
Cut and install insulation to fit walls, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces.
Staple, glue, nail, or wire insulation, or operate equipment for loose-fill or foam insulation.
Drive a company vehicle when needed and keep it clean.
Follow all jobsite safety procedures.
